The School Day
Our school day starts at 8.30am. The gates open at 8.30am and children are encouraged to arrive promptly as registration opens at this time, they enter their classrooms independently. We ask that no child arrives later that 8.45am and that all adults are off site by 8.45am promptly in order that we may lock the gates. Arrivals after 8.45am should be exceptional, and anyone will need to use the main school office entrance, signing the pupil into school and stating the reason for the lateness.
Our school day finishes at 3.00pm. The playground gates open at approximately 2.55pm to enable parents to gather in sight of the classroom doors for teachers to safely release children. Please remember that if someone else is collecting your child we will need your written permission in advance. Thank you. Children who are not collected promptly will be entered into After School Club and a charge raised for this service. Our staff have many commitments and responsibilities beyond the school day and are therefore not available to wait with individual chidlren.
Our school week is a minimum of 32.5 hours a week, from 8.30am until 3pm, five days a week.
