Volunteering
The support of our volunteers is greatly appreciated, and we thank you for your time to volunteer in our schools. Regular volunteers make a huge difference to our school community, benefiting the children and becoming a valuable part of our school family.
Following the necessary initial paperwork, safeguarding checks and references, we ask all our volunteers to meet with a member of the leadership team for their induction. This is to familiarise you with the workings of the school and to keep you and our school community safe, It ranges from key safeguarding information , to health and safety matters and housekeeping arrangements, toilets and where to grab a drink! We will also go through the latest key policies with you. This is so all our volunteers understand HET/School’s policies, procedures and expectations.
